Gown Glory

Hollywood events are all about the red carpet moment. You might not remember the movies that Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts or Gwyneth Paltrow were in, but you definitely remember the dresses they wore that 'shut it down' on the Tinseltown catwalk. But after the dutifully paparazzi-documented moment in the pages of PEOPLE, not many have the fashion fortitude to eclipse the 'Best Dressed' list and become one of the iconic red carpet dresses of all time. In Joan and Melissa Rivers' best-of-the-best red carpet mode, leading UK department store Debenhams compiled a poll to find out the all-time greatest red carpet gowns.
