You don't have to own one of the palatial cottages on Lake Joseph to enjoy what the area has to offer. The pet-friendly Delta Sherwood Inn offers a true Muskoka getaway experience with traditionally decorated rooms and cottage suites overlooking the pristine lake. Some of the rooms come with whirlpools, wood-burning fireplaces and private balconies.

Year-round recreation

The resort is open year-round with plenty of activities to take part in. During the summer, guests can play volleyball, croquet, tennis and badminton. They can also swim, take a cruise around the lake, sail, canoe, water ski, windsurf, bike or hike. Guests have exclusive access to the neighbouring Clublink golf courses. Over winter, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, skating, tobogganing and snowmobiling are hot activities.

If you're not into getting active, why not get eating? The food at the Delta Sherwood Inn is top-notch. Chef de cuisine Matthew Toni has a menu to suit all tastes, including Ontario rack of lamb, roasted venison and diver-caught sea scallops. The CAA/AAA has awarded the restaurant a Four Diamond Plate for four consecutive years.
