How The 30s Differ
From The 20s For Women

You have a career
Or at least more of an idea of what you want your career to be. Most women who pursue higher education in their early 20s usually finish up before they enter their 30s and have held a few jobs. Therefore they are more likely to be settled and satisfied with their careers. If not, they’re more likely to at least have figured out what they want to pursue and are in the process of achieving a career that suits them.
You are more financially stable
Being stable career-wise also means you are more stable money-wise. Since you've been working for a while, you are more likely to have saved up some money, paid off student loans and perhaps are putting a down payment on a condo or a house. You may even have the extra cash to make some investments.
You take better care of yourself
Having an established career and some routine in your life leaves you with more time to take better care of yourself. You're more inclined to be mindful of your health and appearance, which may include eating right, working out, taking your multivitamins and using your facial moisturizers.
You are in a healthier relationship
There are no rules that say you have to or should be married by the time you are 30. However, if you're in a relationship, it's more likely to be a mature, healthy relationship compared to the ones you had in your 20s. The more relationship experiences you have over time, the more you've learned about yourself and about the type of partner that best suits you. Consequently you are more likely to be in a healthy relationship with a partner who has qualities you are looking for.
You have a better sense of identity
The older you get, the more you understand yourself. If you're in a healthy relationship, have a sense of what you want to do with your life and are financially stable, you also have a better understanding of yourself. You know what you like and what you don't like, what turns you on or off, what type of hobbies you enjoy and the type of activities that challenge you. Being happier with yourself leads to happier relationships with your friends, family and significant other.
Go ahead and embrace the big 3-0. The best is yet to come.
